Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT)
is now being acknowledged by GPs, Healthcare Professionals

Counsellors and Psychotherapists as a helpful way to manage
anxiety and depression and deal with stress. Anyone can
benefit from learning mindfulness skills. Mindfulness is not
new it has been helping people to overcome stress and worry
for centuries, though more recently it has become recognised
as a practical way to help individuals manage distressing
psychological symptoms such as anxiety, fear, depression and
worry. |
|
Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy is now
recommended in the UK National Institute of Clinical
Excellence (NICE) Guidelines for the treatment of recurrent
depression conditions however it is also becoming
increasingly used to help with other psychological
conditions connected with anxiety and stress.
We offer
individual based sessions with a therapist – fees start from
£80 per session and the first session is an initial
assessment session.
